Local Dealers To Donate CPR Manikins To Local Red Cross Chapter
Woodstock, VA –At 11:00 AM on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 7TH, new car & truck dealers from the Woodstock area will present Shenandoah County Chapter of the American Red Cross with a Resusci-Anne “Little Anne Four-Pack” of CPR training manikins. The presentation will take place at the Grubbs located at 21902 Old Valley Pike in Woodstock (22664).
The donations of CPR manikins are gifts of the National Automobile Dealers Charitable Foundation and are funded by contributions of franchised new car and truck dealers in local communities. These manikins are provided free of charge to the receiving organizations and will be used to train volunteers and the community in the life-saving skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
The donation was requested by Bobby Grubbs of Grubbs Chevrolet in Woodstock.
The American Red Cross Shenandoah County Chapter is one of the primary providers of CPR training to the public and life-saving organizations in the area. The organization provides training to volunteer life-saving organizations, workplaces, and members of the general community. The organization operates in large part on donations from the local community and businesses. The new Resusci-Anne 4-Pack will supplement their current 9 training manikins.
